Do I need to create an account?

No! NotepadOne works immediately without any registration, login, or account creation. Just visit the site and start writing.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

If you clear your browser's localStorage or cookies, your notes will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Make sure to copy important notes elsewhere if you plan to clear your browser data.

Does NotepadOne work offline?

Yes! Once NotepadOne loads in your browser, it works completely offline. You can write and edit notes without an internet connection. Your notes will still be saved locally.

Can I format my text?

Does NotepadOne have dark mode?

Yes! Click the sun/moon icon in the sidebar to toggle between light and dark modes. Your preference is saved and will be remembered for future visits.
